Hearts Amazed!

Friends and Family,
We greet you today with hearts amazed at what the Lord can do to redeem hearts and lives!

We have just finished up our summer season here, which means that the quantity and frequency of mission teams that we will host will be much less for the next few months. We’ve had the privilege to serve alongside, lead, share our hearts, encourage, and challenge many people that the Lord called to serve alongside us these past few months. While the traveling was tiring, the hours exhausting, and we were many times apart, the Lord is good and is at work!

Some highlights over the last few months include:
-Hosting our home church, Pontiac Bible Church
-The baptism of 9 girls from Hope and Future Orphanage
-Having the privilege of being the sponsors for 2 of the girls that were baptized
-Sharing Christ in the homes of many impoverished families
-Sharing the Gospel with children who had never heard of Jesus
-Installation of around 30 stoves in Chimaltenango, which is life changing for these families
-Many opportunities to disciple, including VBS with several teams
-Christi completing a course in Montessori education
-Mike & Christie Todd (close friends) visited in May
-Christi’s parents visited in July

As you can see, life is moving at lightning speed and it is so obvious that the Lord is in control. None of these things, along with many others, could have been accomplished without Him! We hope that you will continue to pray for and partner with our family.

In Christ,
Dan & Christi Ucherek (and the 4 small Ucherek crazies)
