Isaías Daniel Ucherek

Wednesday morning, November 19, we welcomed our newest blessing into this world! It was a crazy pregnancy and the last few weeks it seemed that things were changing daily... But we called upon the Lord some faithful prayer warriors for the health of both mom and baby! In the end, we were scheduled to go into the hospital on Tuesday night with an induction the following morning. We prayed for what seemed constantly that the induction would not be necessary (Christi was induced with Finley and had some adverse reactions) and God was faithful to answer those prayers! Contractions were a sporadic for several days and began to be consistent almost exactly when we got to the hospital. By the time Christi's doctor arrived on Wednesday morning, he was pleasantly surprised with her progress and immediately said an induction was not necessary! Praise God for His timing and how He directed our steps and guides our bodies! Just 25 minutes after the induction initially would have happened, Isaías Daniel Ucherek joined this world. I don't think we will be forgetting the look on the doctors face any time soon when Christi exclaimed that there was no way she was only 6 cm dilated and the baby was coming NOW... Or the sweet Guatemalan nurses pushing the bed and SPRINTING down the hall to the delivery room either! Let's just say that Christi was not the only one sweating this time! :)

Here's a few photos of our bundle of joy! He arrived at 5:45 am weighing in at 7 lbs 12 oz and measuring 20.5 inches long.

Isaías Daniel Ucherek (just like our other boys, we will use both the Spanish and English version, so feel free to call him Isaiah)

THANK YOU FRIENDS AND FAMILY for praying and walking alongside us! We are forever grateful!
