So the World Will See (Guest post by Dan)

Guest post by Dan
This woman...blind, hurting, needing a place to live...God used THIS woman to give me a change of perspective!

After going to meet Brenda for the first time, God laid this song on my heart. It was written in about 20 minutes from start to finish. God simply GAVE me this song!

You see, seeing Brenda really made an impact on my life. She is blind, her children have to lead her around everywhere she goes, and they live in a tin shack that most Americans would not put their dogs in.

Even though the lost people in this world are blind to what is around them, WE can be a light for them. A light that will shine through the darkness of this world. So many times we walk right by those that are "blind", we need to take the time to be the hands and feet of Jesus to a lost and hurting world! We all need to see the Glory of our King!

Lyrics:

So many times
We pass right by the hurting and the blind
We don't have time
To see the pain and brokenness inside

The plea of the lonely and the broken
 family
When will we see the need to end this
 tragedy

So the world will see the glory of our King
And no more will be abandoned in the streets
Jesus won't you come down let your
love flow through me
So the world will see, the glory of our King

A picture of poverty
They are so much more than paper and faded ink
Their eyes tell stories
Of the hurt and pain they hope that they don't sink

The plea of the lonely and the broken
family
When will we see the need to stand up
And do something

So the world will see the glory of our King
And no more will be abandoned in the streets
Jesus won't you come down let your
love flow through me
So the world will see, the glory of our King
