On the ground!

PRAISE GOD!!! The kids did great on the flight, ALL our bags made it safely, and we are here serving at Village of Hope! Thank you all for your prayers along the way...we will continue to need prayer and support as this will be a HARD transition for all of us! 

Just wanted to share with you just a glimpse of what our world looks like now:)

Village of Hope is AMAZING! What an amazing privilege we have to serve here alongside the Block family! We had the chance last night to do a prayer walk through VOH with the team that arrived yesterday from Paradise Baptist Church...They have been such a blessing to us! 

 P.S. this thing was found outside our room this morning!!!! EEEEKKKK! It was HUGE! I'm just glad it wasn't IN our room:)

and we're off...

Friends and Family,
By the time most of you are reading this we will be well on our way to San Lucas, Guatemala. We can't begin to tell you all of the emotions we are experiencing but KNOW that we are being covered in prayer thanks to all of you! 


Update: God is INCREDIBLE! He has provided for our monthly financial goal that we set forth in our last update and we are well on our way to building our start-up fund! We are continuing to pray that one-time gifts will continue to come in to provide for a training that we will be going to in October and for us to be able to purchase a vehicle within the next few months. 


Prayer requests: Please pray for smooth transitions as we adjust to life in Guatemala. Pray a hedge of protection over our family, over our children as everything around us changes significantly. Pray for our travel, that we would have favor each step of the way and opportunities to share Christ with those we come in contact with. Pray for the San Lucas community, that they would have open hearts and minds. 

To our family and friends... We LOVE you all and can't wait to hold all of you again in our arms! You will be missed dearly:(
